  • £21,189 per annum (pro rata for part time)
  • 37 hours per week (part time working considered)
  • Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Suffolk County Council (SCC) Technical Support Team as a Technical Support Officer based at Endeavour House in Ipswich.

Your role and responsibilities

  • carrying out a range of administrative and financial duties to support the Transport Strategy Officers and Flood and Water Teams
  • dealing with complex customer queries
  • loading planning documents into the Mastergov and Flood and Water databases
  • processing Traffic Management Applications (TMA notices)
  • ordering works (eg. P2P orders, insight etc.) and raising Invoices on Oracle
  • receiving, recording, and issuing land drainage consents/refusal notices
  • managing payments (fees, licences, contributions).

You will need:

  • great customer focus, excellent customer service skills and to enjoy being part of a team
  • experience of the Microsoft suite of applications and spreadsheets (essential) and knowledge of databases such as Oracle, Mastergov etc. (desirable), but full training will be given
  • the ability to edit webpages.
