The Role
We are looking for an Account Manager Manager to join our UKI Chinese Category team. Reporting to the Head of Chinese Category, this is an exciting opportunity to build Chinese restaurants across UKI. .
You will work with hundreds of the highest performing Chinese restaurants around, build relationships with them, try to understand their businesses, and to achieve growth and profitabilit. You will have an opportunity for progression and will jump-start a successful career within the tech space. This is a permanent opportunity with a hybrid working model.
Requirements
As part of a newly formed team, you'll have a chance to shape the account management execution for the UKI Chinese category of this multi-billion-dollar company. You will be motivated to work within a the FMCG environment. We are looking for a strategic mindset and someone with commercial skills and a desire to partner with restaurants.
Requirements:

You will be a fluent speaker and writer in Mandarin (and Cantonese would be a bonus!)

You will have relevant professional experience

You will be a good at building relationships

You will be comfortable with project management

Comfortable looking at and acting on data

You will take ownership and work within demanding targets

An interest in all things food and restaurants

What you'll be doing

Map, prospect, pitch and close Chinese Restaurants in a very methodical and organised fashion.

Communicate (physical visits, emails, WeChat, calls, social media) with restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo technology

Oversee the restaurant on-boarding process to ensure it is as quick, efficient and seamless as possible

Ensure restaurant success within the first eight weeks from signing

Sample food from a variety of high quality establishments

Attend restaurant and food meet ups
