Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult is recruiting a PROJECT ENGINEER for our Glasgow site, to lead the development and delivery of innovative commercially relevant projects and demonstration activities, with a primary focus on offshore wind operations and maintenance (O&M).
This role will be responsible for providing technical leadership to collaborations with industry, supply chain, academia and innovators, enabling the deployment of future O&M assets and strategies.
What will I do?

Lead technical input for projects under the O&M theme and related topics

Provide technical guidance for offshore renewables, both internally and externally

Work with industry stakeholders to identify opportunities and challenges for offshore wind operations and maintenance

Support the development of innovative commercial and research projects

Keep up to date with latest developments and relevant technologies and share knowledge and best practice across the engineering team

Manage and review engineering deliverables in line with project aims and quality standards
What are we looking for?

Degree in engineering or related subject, or equivalent experience
-
Experience of the offshore wind, or relevant industry

Knowledge of O&M requirements, innovations and technologies

Awareness of key industry stakeholders

Good knowledge and use of engineering practices and standards

Project leadership in a technical environment

Experience of developing project proposals, scopes and delivery plans

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and under time constraints
