Main purpose of job:
Innovate Recycle, based in Northamptonshire, England has developed a unique and environmentally sustainable process to extract high-quality substances from waste carpet that can be used to make a wide range of new products. We will be able to recycle all types of carpet currently on the UK market and create long-term jobs. We are looking to recruit a number of Factory Operators to join our team for the exciting initial phase of our recycling operations. Ensure the safe and effective operation of the recycling process. Including machine operation, material inspection, loading of bailed material and removal of finished product.
Key tasks:
1. Safe and efficient operation of the recycling machine in line with company procedures and product requirements
2. Loading of the carpet into the recycling machine and removal of finished product
3. Identify and record non-conformance, defects and production failures
4. Maintaining a clean and tidy working area
5. Working between the recycling line and the carpet sorting segregating department
Key results/objectives:
1. Machine run-time
2. Material produced per shift
3. Completion of check forms and defect reporting
Training and experience:
· Full on-site training of the recycling machine will be given
· Full process knowledge (start to end product) will be trained
· Good written and verbal skills
· Positive attitude
· Health and Safety awareness
· 8hr morning shifts initially moving onto mornings and afternoon shifts
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
