Role Overview:
Working within the Council’s Control Room you will be involved in a range of functions including CCTV monitoring, taking calls to the control room, alarm monitoring and liaising with other partner organisations including the Police.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the Council’s CCTV network and actively deal with incidents and deploy resources where necessary.
- Proactively deal with alarm activations and direct resources to site
- Communicate with members of the public, colleagues and other agencies over airwave or telephone.
Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need as a minimum:
- Be the holder of, or working towards a SIA CCTV Operator Licence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work as part of team
