FRS are assisting a reputable business based in Birmingham City Centre with the recruitment of an Assistant Accountant to join their busy finance department.
The suitable candidate with have previous experience within similar accounting roles and had previous exposure dealing with month end duties.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- To assist the accountants with preparation of the monthly accounts.
- To monitor the sales and purchase ledger.
- To assist with month end closures.
- Supervise the accounts team and ensure all daily tasks are up to date.
- Provide support with teams debts.
- To undertake VAT return and audit related tasks.
- Account reconciliations.
Full time- Permanent

Salary: Circa £28k (based on experience)
