Would you like to start a career working with dogs?
Uptown Dogs is a small family run business which walks & trains dogs.
We are looking for someone who shares our values, to join us either full or part time as a dog walker\driver.
We run 1 group walk a day and have some individual one 2 one clients.
- As owner operators who are hands on, the successful candidate will be working directly with us. You will however be expected to do some driving on your own.
- There will also be other varied duties, such as cleaning dogs after walks if they get dirty, and assisting in keeping the company vehicle & work equipment clean, tidy & organised.
- There may also be other duties around general animal welfare during the course of a work day.
- This role would be ideal for someone who would like to embark on a career with animals, or has some previous experience with other animals.
What we do*
- The role involves collecting, walking & dropping home dogs, driving a medium size van.
- We operate in and around St Johns Wood & Hampstead - North London
- We operate Monday to Friday

Employee conduct*
We work very closely with our clients inside their homes. So it is expected that you be well presented, have a good grasp of the English language, and generally be of happy, respectful and polite disposition.
A CRB check will also be required*
Work ethics*
We take the welfare and safety of our clients dogs extremely seriously. We are a very small team who work closely. There is no room for anyone who intends to cut corners.
Vehicle Insurance restrictions*
Applicants will need to show they’ve held a clean UK driving licence for at least 3 years. (There is a lower age limit on our commercial vehicle policy). Please enquire as to what that is, as we are unable to post this information on indeed.

£10.50 ph for the first 3 months.
£11.50 ph after successful probation period.
