Job Description
Adams Food Service is a leading provider in the food industry, and we are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cash & Carry Warehouse Manager to join our team. As the Cash & Carry Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for leading your team to ensure the efficient, safe, and legal operation of our store, while providing excellent customer service. You will be dedicated to putting customers at the forefront of everything you do, taking ownership and pride in your work, and have a proven track record of successfully leading a team.
Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership: Manage, lead, and develop the warehouse team to deliver high performance, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
2. Store Standards: Ensure consistent high store standards, improve product range, and implement effective merchandising strategies.
3. Policy Adherence: Manage routine procedures while ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
4. KPI Achievement: Deliver all store Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including sales, shrinkage, profit, and wage costs, to achieve targets set by your Manager.
5. Efficiency Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and set challenging targets to minimize payroll costs.
6. Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing exceptional service.
7. Health and Safety: Maintain compliance with Health & Safety regulations, Food Safety standards, and Fire Regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
8. Team Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for the store team, manage performance, and provide coaching when necessary.
Requirements:
· Proven Track Record: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior management role within a wholesale/retail environment, demonstrating a successful track record.
· Self-Motivation: Be self-motivated, demanding, hardworking, and able to work autonomously, taking initiative to drive results.
· Commercial Awareness: Possess a good level of commercial awareness in a wholesale/retail environment, understanding market trends and customer needs.
· Responsive and Proactive: Adapt management style to suit operational requirements, being responsive and proactive in addressing challenges and opportunities.
