HVAC Engineer / Pool Ventilation Trainee Engineer
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £18,000 - £26,000 (Dependent on experience)
Hours are typically 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday (Flexible) (No On-Call)
We are currently looking for an engineer improver role in heating, refrigeration ventilation engineer to join a small company in Nottingham.
Our work ranges from call out works and remedial works in leisure centres to private pools and houses.
The job role is mainly specific to swimming pool ventilation and dehumidification but requires knowledge of electrical fault finding and air conditioning.
Training will be given on the specialist swimming pool ventilation equipment.
Duties will include (Assisting & learning from qualified engineer):
- Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems and where possible provide a first time fix response
- Replacing faulty parts such as compressors and fan motors
- Undertake servicing and maintenance works to a range of dehumidification and ventilation equipment
- Complete work report sheets after each visited job to report diagnosed faults, parts required etc (via provided iPad)
- Reading and understanding technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Understanding of calibration controls
The ideal candidate will have a positive and professional attitude, with a drive to learning a life-long trade from an excellent engineer to become an independent HVAC engineer within our company.
Desirable:
- FGAS qualification
- Drivers license
Work is mainly around the midlands area but very occasionally working away in all areas of the UK.
Salary will be dependent upon experience and candidate is likely to receive fair increases on performance as well as yearly bonus.
