Job Description

The processing of day to day activities within the packaging and dispatch department, including the processing and packaging of finished product to strict deadlines to ensure on time delivery of product to customer. The responsibility of adherence to H&S standards set by the business as well as maintaining quality standards to ISO22000 & ISO9001 requirement level with area of responsibility.

Job Requirements

Formal Training & Qualifications / Education requirements:

• No formal qualification are required, although Good levels of literacy and numeracy;
• Is able to develop within role, i.e. complete additional qualifications;
• Current Valid Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence;

Experience:

• Experience of working in a manufacturing/chemical environment is desirable, as well as warehouse, logistics and distribution knowledge;
• An understanding of the legislative requirements of working with dangerous goods/hazardous chemicals would be advantageous.
