Live in – Night-time supervisor & Animal Care Manager role available, within a successful busy pet boarding establishment.

If you do not hold an Animal Care Qualification, you must have experience in the animal sector, and be willing to work towards completing the necessary qualifications. Please specify this in your cover letter.
Animal Care Manager/Night Time Supervisor
You will be responsible for managing a team of Animal care assistants, on a day-to-day basis, making sure every task is completed to a high standard, efficiently, and the facility is always in an immaculate condition. You must be willing to follow company protocols, and comply with all licencing requirements.
This role is not for the faint hearted. We are an extremely fast paced environment, with zero time for mistakes. Customer service is a must. We are looking for someone with confidence, great communication skills, computer literate, the ability to use initiative, and ensure the smooth running of the facility.
As well as a passion for animals and their welfare.
Position on offer – Full time 30hrs (5-day week) or 36hrs (6-day week). Please note you will work more hours within a day than this during summer, and less hours through winter, due to the nature of the business. A salary will guarantee you the same pay each month.
Split shifts, hours are always approx. Summer - 6:30am-11:30am & 4pm-7pm approx.
Nighttime supervision - 7 nights per week, as you will be living on site.
You will be expected to be on site by 7pm (when not already on site working) – through to 7am. Special occasions, which result in returning to site later than the contracted time, can be arranged with prior agreement.
If the alarm sounds (mobile app) within the night, you will be expected to check the entire facility, before re alarming.
The site is fully locked, with secure fencing.
When attending to the alarm, you will then be paid for the inconvenience on top of your monthly salary.
Holiday’s will need to be taken during our quieter months.
Living accommodation is a 2-bedroom static caravan, with an open plan kitchen and living space. One toilet room, and one shower room. Fully furnished. Rent, sewage, heat, light & power are covered by the company. Pets welcome, as long as they are vaccinated fully.
