Nursery Assistant

£10.60- £13.00 ph
We are currently seeking professional and experienced Nursery Assistants, as well as individuals new to the sector who are eager to gain valuable experience, to join our team in the Wantage area. The role involves working within various nurseries, providing exceptional care and support to children up to 5 years old.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality care for children
– Engage children in stimulating activities such as reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
– Assist with mealtimes, nap times, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
– Provide supervision and maintain a nurturing and secure environment
– Complete a comprehensive induction and receive training to excel in the role
We offer flexible working arrangements to accommodate your availability and preferences for shifts and hours. Standard shifts for these clients typically begin between 8:00-9:00 am and end between 5:00-6:00 pm. If you require specific hours, please contact us as we have additional opportunities available.
Ideal candidates for this position would have previous experience as a nursery worker, nanny, childminder, babysitter, or relevant experience in caring for young children. However, we also welcome enthusiastic individuals new to the sector who are willing to train and grow in this rewarding field.
