Immediate start available for friendly and welcoming bar and front of house staff, couples welcome. Bar Supervisor needed as well as General Assistants.
Live in positions are available at this lovely Lake District hotel. This well known historic Inn is in a fantastic Lakes location near Ambleside, surrounded by hills and woods with a Lake 100m. away. And live badgers! We are proud to serve great local ales as well as good home-cooked food. It is a relaxed family run business and has a great reputation for helpful and happy staff. Some experience is helpful, but a positive attitude is the most important thing.
Being in a fantastic location, our customers are mostly walkers and tourists. We are looking for hard working and enthusiastic people to join our small team to assist the owners in the day to day running of the hotel. The position will involve working in most areas of the hotel, but mostly front of house – in particular bar work and waiting on.
We love it here and want to attract staff and guests who really want to be here too! If you love the great outdoors then this is the ideal spot – with lakes and fells literally right on the doorstep, and the buzzing little town of Ambleside only 1 mile away, with its shops, restaurants and cinemas.
Pay from £11 per hour, significantly more if you are really good! Share of tips. your own staff room is available. Tasty homemade staff food. Helpful management (eg. we try to give you the days off and holidays you ask for). Real badgers! (see the website)
