LEGAL ADMINISTRATOR/ASSISTANT
SALARY NEGOTIABLE
Location: Pride Park, Derby office
We are part of a national law firm and have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic administrator/legal assistant, on a full or part time basis, to join our Real Estate team, dealing with commercial and residential development and related transactions.
Based at our Pride Park office and working full or part time (days and hours to be agreed), you will be involved in both legal matters and administrative duties.
The role will involve:-
- Drafting legal documentation and liaising with clients and other solicitor firms by email, telephone and in person
- Opportunity to play a part in wider high value and complex transactions
- Opening client files and processing invoices
- Completing and submitting forms online
- Requesting documents from the Land Registry and undertaking conveyancing searches
Requirements:-
- Good academic record
- Administration experience
- Previous experience at a legal firm is not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate
- Proficient in all Microsoft programmes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Proactive/uses initiative
- Highly organised and efficient
