Overview:
Rapiscan Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of OSI Systems, Inc. designs, manufactures and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. Our products are used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles and other objects for weapons, explosives, drugs and other contraband. Rapiscan Systems security and inspection devices can be found in a wide range of locations such as, airports, border crossings, railway stations, seaports and terminals, government and military installations and nuclear facilities.
Role Overview
Installation, repair and maintenance support of the full range of Rapiscan’s Checkpoint & Trace products in the UK & EMEA.
Responsibilities:
Installation and service support of Rapiscan’s Checkpoint, CT and Trace systems at customer’s premises, primarily in the Southern area of England, but may include other locations throughout the UK and overseas.-
Routine preventative and breakdown maintenance of the Company’s equipment at customer premises in the UK and EMEA.

Provide out of hours standby cover as part of established teams.

Carry out basic Operator and Technical training when required at customer premises.

Carry out site surveys and advise customer on technical matters prior to installations.

Learn the basics of ADS products so assistance can be given to other teams.

Provide feedback to Engineering, Product Line Management and QA as part of our continuous improvement programme.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a customer facing environment would be beneficial. Electronics and Computer experience essential, along with working knowledge of Microsoft office related programs.

Electronics and computer knowledge. Must have qualifications in subjects relevant to the role.
