Job Description
Fast-paced PI Firm seeking a Case Manager/Demand Writer to oversee 50+ Client Files.
Duties Include:
- Handle the intake process, as well as audit potential cases
- Open insurance claims and conduct proper research in order to clear liability/coverage
- Handle all aspects of property damage
- Schedule and monitor client treatment
- Obtain and analyze medical records
- Examine and evaluate files to build up a proper case
- Obtain Medi-cal, Medicare, and other private health insurance liens
- Consistent communication with clients to provide case status and address questions/concerns
- Experience in reviewing files, medical records, writing demands, & explaining injuries.
- Ability to read medical records, surgical records, & MRI findings.
- Professional demeanor, attention to detail, reliable, and great written and communication skills!
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Thorough knowledge of auto insurance policies
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong investigative skills
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) - REQUIRED
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word
- Ability to prepare and draft demands (preferred)
- Typing skills of at least 50 wpm
- Must be organized, and be able to multi-task.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience in Personal Injury!
- Detail Oriented, dependable, & punctual!
