Job Summary
Feme Ltd is recruiting permanent and full time the Goods In Warehouse Operative for our Bulk warehouse based in South Wimbledon. Please, only candidates who live close to the job being offered.
The role will involve unloading containers and checking goods, general warehouse housekeeping and assisting with picking and packing customers’ orders when required.
You will be an experienced warehouse operative who is a good team player with a cheerful and approachable manner. You will have good communication skills and a positive attitude to work.

Successful candidates will be required to work in accordance with company best practice and given training in the following areas:
Picking and Packing of customers’ orders. Health and Safety, Manual Handling, Fire Safety & Safe Ladder Use, Banksman.
Probation period: 3 months.
Shift hours 8.30am-5.30pm Fri with half an hour lunch break and two 15 min coffee/tea breaks
The site operates Monday to Friday with overtime available during the week and at weekends during busy periods.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Basic computer skills.
· Attention to details
· The work involves considerable physical activity, since it is necessary to unload stock from containers and move completed orders with pump truck.
· Keep the warehouse neat, orderly, and organised.
· Interacts with the supervisor to resolve any issues during the unloading containers or fulfilment of orders.
· Loading and unloading trucks with a forklift if needed. (On-Site Forklift Training available after probation)
· Forklift & Lift-Truck Safety Inspection & Maintenance (when qualified)
· Participating in annual stocktaking and cyclical counting during the year according to the established procedure.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications
Warehouse experience is important but not essential as full training will be given, you will, however, need drive, common sense, and a can-do attitude.
