VOLUNTEERS TO SUPPORT SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN IN EARLY YEARS SETTINGS ACROSS BOLTON.
- 3-4 hours per week. (1 morning or 1 afternoon)
- All positions are in Bolton
Special Needs Under Fives support Charity urgently need volunteers to provide 1-1 support to Special Needs children between the age of 2 and 5.
You will support a child in a school, nursery, private day nursery or playgroup working under the direction of the staff in the setting.
We need volunteers in all areas of Bolton -
Breightmet, Great Lever, Horwich, Moses Gate, Farnworth, Astley Bridge, Heaton, Deane, Over Hulton, Tonge Fold, Westhoughton, Harwood, Astley Bridge, Lostock, Egerton, Sharples, Bromley Cross, Bradshaw, Kearsley, Halliwell, Little Lever, Tonge Moor, Smithills, Chorley Old Road
As a SNUFS Volunteer you must be able to commit to the following:
Complete our volunteer application process which will include:
- Give details of 2 people prepared to provide you with references
- Allow SNUFS to complete a DBS on your behalf
- Agree to complete an online Safeguarding Course
- Be fluent in the English Language
- Have 3 hours plus travel time available each week (morning or afternoon)
- Commit to volunteering in a pre-school setting every week
