RECEPTION MANAGER
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Head Receptionist in this independent, privately owned, luxury 44-bedroom hotel. As Head Receptionist of a team with four other Receptionists, you will be expected to take responsibility for the reception function within the hotel to ensure total guest satisfaction, supported by the Front Office Manager who you will report directly to.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate would possess excellent communication and leadership skills along with the ability to priorities tasks and multi-task and must have experience in a similar position.
Duties will include:
·Manage, encourage, and develop the reception team to ensure all Company and legal standards are met.
·To promote and maintain the professional profile of the reception team.
·Ensure the team are dealing with guests promptly upon arrival and departures in line with hotel procedures.
·Be fully conversant with facilities, services and promotions offered by the hotel and whenever appropriate offer this to the guests.
·Shifts will normally be on a rota system including early, mid & lates. You will create the weekly schedules for your team
