Garden House Hospice Care provides compassionate, specialist and personalised care for people with life-limiting conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease and heart failure. Supporting patients, their families and loved ones 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are based in Letchworth and cover North Hertfordshire, Stevenage and Central Bedfordshire.
We are looking for a Digital Marketing and Communications Officer to support the delivery of our new strategy. We are seeking a passionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment where over the course of a day you could be covering an event, interviewing a patient, editing a video, setting up targeted paid adverts or responding to kind messages from supporters.
We have bold ambitions to extend our care to more people, break down the barriers preventing people from accessing our care, raise our profile as experts in our field and generate more charitable income to fund all of this work. We need you to help us do this!
This exciting, hands-on role within the Marketing and Communications team will drive a greater focus on new digital ventures to support all departments in the organisation, with the aim of engaging with new and existing stakeholders, transforming tailored communications and content to gain results whilst increasing our reach and audience.
Responsible for the planning, creation, scheduling, targeting, account management and performance reporting, you will deliver a variety of engaging content to showcase our services, drive referrals, share patient stories, fundraising initiatives and recruitment opportunities. You will also support with the maintenance of our website content and look for ways to constantly improve user experience.
You will be a competent writer with a creative eye for content who is brilliant at building relationships at all levels. Experience in developing a digital strategy is desirable.
