Job Summary: We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is a remote position, but the successful applicant will need to be able to travel to Leicester once a month to attend team meetings and events. The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth and increase brand awareness, with a particular focus on social media content creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies across multiple channels, Including:
- Social media
- Email marketing
- Ads
- Blog
- Reputation management
- Create and manage social media content, from concept to execution
- Conduct market research and analyse customer data to identify trends and insights for social media content
- Collaborate with the design and development teams to create engaging social media visuals and campaigns
- Measure and analyse the effectiveness of social media campaigns and adjust strategies as needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as clients, partners, and influencers
- Assist with other marketing and business development initiatives as needed
- Photography and/or design skills desired for creating visual content for marketing materials.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and strategies, with particular expertise in social media
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful social media campaigns
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Some experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools
- Some knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Must be able to travel to Leicester once a month
- Portfolio examples of creativity and social media content creation skills
