This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the Adults Strategic Commissioning Team at Bracknell Forest. Working predominantly from home the successful applicant will:
You will report to different managers in relation to different aspects of your work plan and you will operate within a flexible pool of resource to deliver the Council’s commissioning priorities. The role is of significant strategic and commercial importance.

Reporting to the Strategic Commissioning Manager you will:
We are looking for a candidate who will work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the council and within the community. You are approachable, professional, adaptable, and innovative. You will have experience of commissioning in an adult arena as well as managing change within a Social Care environment. You will be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the application of commissioning approaches to analyse current provision, design future service and mobilise and deliver sustained improvements and outcomes. Experience of project management, tendering and procuring significant services across Adult Services is highly desirable. You will be a skilled and influential communicator, who has effective problem-solving skills and excel at making things happen.

Professional expertise and experience in commissioning, market development and contracting in relation to an Adult Senior Commissioning role.
