Job Description
Due to the expansion of our practice we have an opportunity for an enthusiastic person to join our practice team as a part-time Medical Receptionist. The vacancy is for 25hrs over 5 days, aplicants are expected to be flexible within these hours.
The right candidate must have:
- Strong communication and computer literacy skills.
- The ability to prioritise and work on own initiative.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Previous experience working in a GP practice would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be given. We use Vision and Docman clinical systems.
Main duties involve dealing with patients both face to face and by telephone, booking appointments, processing prescriptions, signposting patients to appropriate services, scanning mail along with other administrative tasks, supporting and assisting clinicians along with other members of the health care team.
It is essential you are able to cover other staff during periods of annual leave or absence.
Caldergreen is situated within the Hunter Health Centre in East Kilbride and serves almost 13,000 patients
Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Full employee benefits will be discussed at interview.
