Job Description
We are an independently owned 14 bedroomed boutique hotel in the heart of Ramsgate offering high end accommodation and first class hospitality to our guests.
We are a small and supportive team on reception and are looking to welcome a new member to the team to work some of our weekend shifts.
Reporting to the Reservations Manager, our ideal candidate would be highly presentable, confident, caring and professional with a flair for sales. Previous receptionist experience is a must, sales skills would be an advantage. Full training will be given. There is never a dull moment on reception and the work is varied - one minute you'll be welcoming our fabulous guests for their stay, the next you'll be handling bookings enquiries via email and telephone and the next making sure that our guests in the Georgian Rooms have all the champagne they need. Therefore, you will need to be adaptable and quick thinking. The art of good hospitality is to be able to anticipate our guests needs and be ready to provide what is required.
Hours would be six hour shifts working across weekdays (occasional cover at weekends for staff holidays).
