We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Nurse (Child Development & Wellbeing Support Officers) to the Early Years Inclusion and SEND Service. The role will involve working at the Child Development Centres to coordinate and implement groups for children, their families and professionals and outreach support to settings. To support the children with additional and complex needs, raise aspirations, ensure inclusion and improve learning outcomes. Our team works across Cornwall to support settings and deliver bespoke training. We are looking for someone who has an interest and experience in working within our multi agency teams to support early identification and intervention and ensure children have the best start in life. The post will be based in the St Columb Major area.
You will have a qualification in NNEB/NVQ level 3 or equivalent and experience of working with children with additional needs. You will have experience of working with young children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities 0-5years within a setting. Safeguarding is our highest priority and this role will require an enhanced DBS certification.
