London. We need polite, efficient, and capable workers with good knowledge for central
London streets.
The Job
You will use a e-cargo bike to carry out waste collection from local businesses and
retailers and create consolidation points by foot or with the help of our e-cargo bikes.
Occasionally you will go as drivers mate.
The hours of this shift will be: 3pm-11pm
We will provide the E-bike and you'll bring the energy and enthusiasm to get the job
done!
Requirements
Skills and Knowledge
- Previous experience cycling in Central London is preferable.
- Calm and considerate approach to work.
- Professional individual who always represents the Company brand.
- Always going the extra mile.
- Good spoken English.
Job Responsibilities
- Load bike with First mile bags/cardboard from the area assigned
- unload the bike to dedicated tipping points indicated by office supervisor
- Keep in contact with office and report any problems with collections.
- Have a great knowledge and understanding of all First Mile products.
- Ensure products are loaded correctly not causing any hazard to
- yourself/pedestrians/other road users.
- Report any customer issues to operations Supervisor right away.
- Complete Bike Checklist Sheet prior to the start of each shift, ensuring bike is safe to
- ride.
- Report any bike maintenance issues to the Supervisor immediately.
- At the end of each shift, bike is to be kept safe at the bike designated area.
- At the end of each shift, battery is to be connected to a charger so can be fully
- charged overnight.
- Always cycle safely and carefully, comply with Highway Code.
Benefits
- Salary: £31,000 per annum
- 28 days annual leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays), plus one additional annual leave day for each whole year of service up to a maximum of 5 additional days.
