Chase Evans Residential is a real estate and property management agency based in London with offices in Singapore and Hong-Kong. We are seeking a motivated Lettings Renewals Negotiator to work in the Renewals team at its head office in Elephant & Castle.
A full training will be offered as this position does not require previous experience in property but a great customer service approach as well as a strong interest in contract/legal documents.
The role will include:
· Sending Professional letters and emails to Landlords and Tenants at the beginning and end of the renewal process
· Looking after a specific set of developments and handling both Tenant and Landlord enquiries relating to the Renewal of a Tenancy
· Looking after a specific set of developments and handling both Tenant and Landlord enquiries relating to the serving of notices to bring a tenancy to a close
· Ensuring that all Check Outs for the allocated developments are arranged with Tenant and Inventory company and updating Landlord on any progress
· Producing a weekly report on office activity to the team leader
· Correct preparation of legal documents including; tenancy agreements, renewal agreements, Deeds of Surrender and Possession Notices
Skills Required:
· Experience in customer service dealing with demanding clients and strict regulation an advantage
· A strong administration ethic
· Good communication skills – both written and oral
· A professional telephone manner
· Ability to negotiate with Landlords and Tenants
· Ability to work to timescales and under pressure
· A knowledge of AST’s, Corporate Tenancies and a basic grasp of Tenancy Law is a plus but not necessary
· Knowledge of the types of notice would be an advantage
· Mandarin speaking is a plus
The successful candidate needs to be self-driven, and have an eagerness and passion for the industry, preferably with sound all round Customer Service experience. They must be willing to take ownership and responsibility of the role and display strong Customer Service attributes - client focus must be their focus, the role will report to Renewals Team Leader.
