Job Description
We currently have a great opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our production management team working from our manufacturing site in Warrington which manufactures various high quality commercial soft seating and ancillary products. Key to the role is monitoring, supervising and developing a dedicated team ensuring production demands are achieved whilst delivering high levels in quantity and quality.
The Role:
· Lead, motivate and develop team members across the departments
· Manage and evaluate KPI’s to ensure they are in line with organisational requirements.
· Ensure products meet their deadlines and is responsible for updating team of any delays.
· Develop training and development plans to ensure that all employees’ relevant needs are identified and are trained to the required standard.
· Ensure the quality of product is being managed in order to meet customer expectation.
· To ensure that safe systems of work are in place in accordance with Health & Safety legislation.
· Ensure all waste and resources are kept to a minimum.
· Monitor and update the ERP system, including any excel workbooks.
The Person:
· A good understanding of modern lean manufacturing process and disciplines.
· Previous supervisory experience.
· Background working within manufacturing, preferably furniture manufacturing.
· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
· Pro-active with a positive mind-set and ‘can do’ attitude.
· Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
· A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.
