The Rheumatology and Pulmonary Hypertension Clinical Trials Department is involved in a wide range of clinical research sponsored both academically and commercially.
The role of the Clinical Trials Administrator is to provide administrative support to the research team. Main responsibilities will involve creating and maintaining trial site files, assisting with setting up trials and maintaining trial activity databases.
The post holder will be expected to develop skills and knowledge relating to the conduct of clinical trials mainly in Rheumatology and Pulmonary Hypertension.
The post holder will work within the guidelines of ICH GCP at all times. Attention to details must be adhered to.

- Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values
- Science degree or equivalent qualification
- Recent experience of working in a research environment.
- Understanding of patient and data confidentially procedures.
- Recent experience of working in healthcare.
- Recent experience of dealing with the public on a regular basis.
- Understanding of Patient Administration Systems/ CERNER and EDRM.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Clear verbal and written communication.
- Willingness to learn and undertake new skills.
