Vanrath are delighted to be assisting a major food plant who are looking for an office administrator to work at their abattoir in Sixhills near Melton Mowbray. This is an exciting opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to develop a career in one of the UK’s largest meat processing companies.
Main duties of the role will be:
- Dealing with cattle payments
- Invoicing
- Customer orders and enquires
- Purchase orders
- Supplier payment enquires
- Chasing logistics and internal dept’s for updates
- General Administration duties
You will need:

- Ability to work as part of a team
- Provide regular and reliable service
- Focused and driven
- Ability to work under pressure
Working hours are Monday-Friday, starting at 9:30 a.m. to 2:30pm. You will also be required to work every other Saturday for a few hours in the morning to cover weekend shipping. The rate paid for this position is £10.92 > £11.92 per hour.
