Job Description

We are looking for an Engineer to join our amazing team of community based Medical Engineers supporting various health care providers across the North West. Our Medical Engineers play an essential role in the smooth running of these community services and help them maintain the highest levels of patient safety. If you are enthusiastic and motivated, this is an excellent opportunity for you to join our ISO 9001 accredited team.

Our ISO9001:2015 accredited department manages the Trusts 28,000 items of medical equipment and has service level contracts with other nearby organisations.

You will be undertaking the acceptance testing, planned maintenance and the repair of a range of medical equipment in community locations.

Working as a member of a highly skilled team you will be ensuring the safe operation of this equipment with minimum downtime and always maximising patient safety.

Applicants are expected to have knowledge in the field of medical engineering or general engineering along with considerable technical experience.Additionally, you should be able to provide evidence of continuing personal development, be highly professional, organised and capable of working under pressure
