Our client are seeking a motivated and talented Robotics Engineer to work on the design, development, testing, and implementation of advanced robotic systems and automation solutions. As a Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of robotics systems, from conception to deployment and maintenance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test robotic systems for a wide range of applications

Conduct research and development of new robotic technologies and processes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robotic solutions that meet customer requirements

Program and configure robotic systems to perform specific tasks

Analyse and troubleshoot system issues and develop solutions

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design, test procedures, and user manuals

Collaborate with product managers, sales engineers, and customers to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs

Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in robotics technology and industry trends
Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, and other programming languages commonly used in robotics

Experience with robotics simulation software such as Gazebo, ROS, and Matlab

Knowledge of robotic hardware, including sensors, actuators, and control systems

Experience with robotic system integration and deployment

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computer vision is a plus

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000, based on experience and qualifications. The role is office-based (60%) and site-based (40%) in Huntingdon.
