The Job Role

• The experienced Director of Sales will be able to drive and sell all market segments for the hotel including leisure & corporate, with a main focus on MICE business.
• This role will be reporting into the Group Director of Sales.
• Identify opportunities for new business through research, cold calling, networking events, etc
• The Director of Sales will be the face of the business during client show-rounds, FAM trips as well as representing the hotel & company at trade shows & exhibitions

The Requirements

• The Director of Sales will have previous experience and proven success in a proactive MICE focussed sales role
• Be able to use initiative and have the ability in negotiating rates to secure business at all times.
• Experience of social media channels would be advantageous
