Position: HEAD COOK JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Adherence to all prescribed procedures and standards in hotel business; • Timely and quality execution of jobs and tasks in your shift; • Participation in daily coordination in your unit; • Manages and coordinates the work of the kitchen; • Gives instructions to assistant cooks; • Ensures kitchen assistants use agreed measures and quantities as planned in recipes, production instructions and menus; • Prevents the use, preparation or serving of food that does not meet the hotel's quality and safety standards; • Maintains all necessary documentation related to HACCP, Crystal; • Takes samples and constantly checks the prepared food and does not allow food that does not meet the agreed standards to be served and participates in resolving guest complaints; • Participates in the preparation of the kitchen for work (kitchen and kitchen equipment, temporary storage, cooling devices, etc.); • Prepares and cooks food; Processes and prepares meat, fish and other meal ingredients; • Make sure that the prepared meals meet the standards; • Applies agreed measures and regulations in food preparation, as provided in recipes, production instructions and menus; • Maintains personal tidiness and cleanliness, as well as tidiness and cleanliness of the kitchen and kitchen equipment; • Performs other jobs and work tasks, for which the need arises, according to the previous order of the head of the shift and the head of the kitchen. • In case of absence, chef A replaces him. • The employee is responsible for his/her work to the head of the shift/head of the kitchen.
CONDITIONS: • Previous work experience of at least one year; • Knowledge of Mediterranean, Balkan, Italian and Spanish cuisine; • Knowledge of the English language; • Expected start of work May 2023.
