We are currently looking to recruit an administrative assistant. Working as part of a small and friendly team, it is essential that you are well presented and have a 'can do' attitude. You must have excellent communication skills both over the phone and face to face with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. You will be the first point of contact for customers so you will be expected to deliver an exceptional level of customer service at all times.
You will be responsible for assisting with administration, reception and dealing with a wide range of day to day office functions.
Your role will involve:
- Answering the telephone and providing a high level of Customer Service
- Assisting with customer queries by email, telephone and occasionally face to face
- Receive and process incoming purchase orders
- Arranging suppliers and service providers
- Organise travel and accommodations for onsite activities
- Sending purchase orders and reviewing supplier invoices
- Maintaining office stationery supplies and equipment
- Liaising with couriers for UK and overseas parcels, packing goods ready for shipment
- General typing duties, data entry, presentation of customer quotations, invoicing and database maintenance
- Utilising established planning tools, schedule the appropriate resources to meet promised deadlines
- Maintaining and updating policies and procedures
- Maintaining and updating health and safety, quality and environmental ISO accreditations
- General bookkeeping duties including Sage data entry, Sterling, Euro and credit card bank reconciliation, sales and purchase ledger, VAT returns and EC sales submissions.
- Any other related duties as required The ideal candidate will have good literacy skills and will be proficient with Microsoft Office. The position would be suited to someone with an outgoing personality who likes a challenge .

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm Licence/Certification: Drivers Licence
