HOUSEKEEPER
25-30 hours per week
(Monday to Friday, possibly suitable during school hours)
£10.90 per hour
Location: Edinburgh House, Hanley, Stoke on Trent
YMCA North Staffordshire are a local charity who supports young people and families offering meaningful accommodation, campus community, and health and wellbeing services to make a difference in their lives.
An opportunity has arisen to join our friendly housekeeping team. The primary purpose of your role will be to ensure that the YMCA North Staffordshire campus remains clean, safe and tidy, inside and out.
The role will require you to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in all communal areas, staff offices and residential rooms. To provide a laundry service for YMCANS bedding and any other laundry needs. A knowledge of COSHH regulations is also essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role or working in a customer service environment. They should be a team player and understand the difficulties facing young people today. The successful individual will need to work as part of the team to achieve all the teams objectives and targets.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS and reference check.
