The team
Benjamin Franklin once said "in this world, nothing is certain except death and taxes" and so if you have ever fancied learning about one of life's certainties then this apprentice role within the Tax Team at ITV is an ideal opportunity.
You will learn about a variety of taxes, including VAT, employment taxes, Corporate Tax and foreign entertainers withholding tax as well as gaining an insight into the IR35 legislation that is fundamental in the ITV business model. There will also be the opportunity to gain general accounting knowledge, including reconciliation processes, journal preparation and master data maintenance.
The experienced and diverse tax team is a relatively small function (in terms of staff numbers) but covers all UK taxes and all areas of the business, so you will gain an insight into the different business areas across ITV, from core productions, independent productions, advertising and reality TV. No two days are the same and this will be a stepping stone for a career in tax or accounting.
