Job Title: Indian/Multi Cuisine Buffet Chef - Tier 2 Visa Available

As a Head Chef at Raees Buffet Restaurant, you will be responsible for menu research and development, enhancing presentation standards, controlling food wastage, and maintaining a safe and compliant working environment. You will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure adherence to food hygiene documentation and product labeling standards. You will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and creativity by creating authentic and delectable Indian and multi-cuisine dishes from starters to mains to desserts.
We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of working in restaurants, preferably with experience in the hotel/hospitality industry in India. You should be a people person who understands the value of building and running a professional and happy team. You should be hands-on with cooking and able to thrive in a busy kitchen to the highest of standards.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct menu research and development for both curry and tandoori dishes
- Improve current menu and enhance presentation standards
- Control food wastage and ensure efficient inventory management
- Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain food hygiene documentation and product labeling standards
- Maintain a safe and compliant working environment
- Collaborate with the team to meet the needs of the business and ensure smooth operations
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the kitchen team
- Uphold the quality and taste of every dish leaving the kitchen
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably with expertise in Indian and multi-cuisine dishes
- Strong culinary skills and creativity in creating authentic and delicious meals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and adjust to the needs of the business
