We are currently seeking Warehouse Operatives to work in a coldstore based at our Felixstowe distribution center.
The role involves working a 12-hour shift pattern covering 7 days per week. For example, in week 1, you work 5 days, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and in week 2, you work 2 days, Wednesday and Thursday. All PPE will be provided, and you will be working in both an ambient and cold environment, which can be up to -25°C.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for completing picking routines and stock checks accurately, preparing products for delivery, checking and confirming loads, completing documentation, and ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with heavy lifting, have proactive problem-solving capability, be flexible and adaptable, able to work to deadlines and meet targets, and have excellent communication skills. Most importantly, you should be a team player who is driven, self-motivated, and always ready to go the extra mile.
