Sales Executive

We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive for a successful landscaping supply company based in Newtownards, Co.Down.
Sales Executive duties and responsibilities
Sales:
- Checking and responding to sales e-mails and messages.
- Checking and responding to sales enquiries and messages on HUB spot and social media channels.
- Answering calls and dealing with customer phone enquiries.
- Welcoming retail and trade customers into the Showroom or Display Area, assisting them with their product queries.
- Generating quotes for customers as and when required.
- Performing customer demos to help promote a product.
- Creating orders on the system database including capturing all necessary information.
- Creating sale invoices and quotation notes
- Managing transactions with customers and collecting payments whether in cash or card.
- Creating picking lists and passing them on to the warehouse team.
- Liaising with the warehouse team to manage target delivery/ collection times.
- Liaising with the customers to inform of them of any changes in orders.
- Completing daily sales logs, ensuring all relevant paperwork is attached.
- Assisting when necessary in annual and quarterly stock takes
- Ensuring any returned stock is accounted for and updated on computer management systems.
- Assisting in the warehouse as and when necessary with picking and dispatch.
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience of working in direct customer facing sales.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of working within a relevant field (trade and retail/ landscaping supply/ gardening supply)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £23,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
