WLS Ltd is a Fire & Security installation and maintenance company based in Crystal Palace. We are looking for a Project Manager to manage installation works ranging from £5k to £2m.
A minimum of 5 years' experience required. The successful applicant will have a proven background in the Fire and Security industry. The position would suit a highly organised individual with strong leadership skills, good customer relations and the ability to manage people and multiple on-going projects.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
· Manage multiple installations ranging from £5k to £2m
· Agree project objectives.
· Be responsible for timely labour and equipment deliveries to site and manage on site progress
· Conduct site and project meetings.
· Ensure all variations to specifications are picked up and costed accordingly
· Perform risk management to reduce potential risks
· Good communication skills.
· Ensure the quality standards of the project are met.
· Recruiting specialists and sub-contractors.
· Oversee the accounting, costing and billing.
· Report to the client or senior stakeholders on progress.
Essential requirements:
- Proven track record of technical knowledge within the fire and security industry
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills including attention to detail
- Must have knowledge/ experience of Microsoft Office, Excel and project management software tools
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
