We are seeking an energetic person who is motivated, diligent, trustworthy and child focussed. This role will include clinical and administrative tasks and will include travel between bases and schools and so access to your own transport is essential.�
The School Nursing Service lead on the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme for school aged children, this includes the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP). A core part of this role will include the scheduling of school based measuring sessions; provision of safe and child centred health screening sessions in school; inputting of data on to the child's health record; phone contact with families to discuss health screening outcomes and offer health promoting advice in respect of child's nutrition and healthy weight; administrative tasks linked to NCMP such as the provision of outcome letters to families etc.
