The site services manager will assist the Maintenance and Reliability Manager by providing ‘front-line’ operational management of the site services arm of the engineering department at the Balliol site. Key Accountabilities
Assist the M&R Manager in driving the implementation, review and evolution of Maintenance & Reliability Best Practice across site to maximise plant reliability, efficiency and asset health. Direct and engage the employees responsible for the operation, monitoring and repairs and maintenance of equipment, machines and buildings at the site
Collaborate with senior team members to identify opportunities to improve reliability and resolve acceptable risk tolerance for equipment.
Participate in project planning, cost estimation, tracking and payback justification to ensure budget is met.
Plan and prioritize work orders, scheduling overall repair and maintenance to minimize production downtime and disruptions.
Champion personal safety and serves as a safety mentor to team.
Ensures that critical tasks, best management practices, work instructions and procedures, audits, preventative maintenance, contractor checklists are kept up to date and training/documentation is performed.
Ensure that contractor and vendor tasks are performed according to the corporate safety culture and routines.
Other duties as assigned
Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Confirmed work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Confirmed supervisory experience
Experience supporting audit compliance and root/cause analysis processes.
