Job Description
Our client are a Manufacturing business who are based in the Washington Area, who are looking to recruit a Production Supervisor working on a 2 shift rotation pattern.
The role involves Supervising a team of people from Team Leader to Production Operators. Ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with all safety related procedures. Good organisational and Planning skills, able to communicate effectively with their team, listen and understand other peoples viewpoints. Have good attention to detail, be a team player with good work ethics, along with Problem solving skills and accountability for production achievement to plan and targets.
Other duties include but not limited to:
Safety first culture, includes 6S compliance and H&S audits.
Manage Operator behaviour, discipline ensuring compliance to all policy & procedures.
Sign off Operator Training to standard operating procedure and relevant KPI's
Work In Progress, Quality, Cost and Delivery of the products ensuring all orders are met On Time and in Full to meet the customers requirements.
Support, investigate, aid in root cause analysis with 8D requirements.
First line management for communications, regular briefings, arrange holiday/overtime cover.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years previous experience working within a Manufacturing environment as either a Team Leader or a Supervisor.
Working on a 2 shift rotation pattern, 6am - 2pm, 2pm -10pm, 5 shifts a week.
