Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Home Cleaner to help maintain a clean and organized living environment for our home in Palterton (just outside of Bolsover) and help look after our two lovely dogs.
The ideal candidate will be available to work 6 hours per week on Mondays and Thursdays, from 9ish till 12ish. However, we are willing to adjust the working hours to accommodate existing responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy up all living areas of the home including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living rooms
- Dust and wipe down furniture, surfaces, and appliances
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and kitchen surfaces
- Change bed linens and wash towels as needed
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
- Clothes washing and drying / putting away
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cleaner or housekeeper is preferred, but not required
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Must be able to communicate effectively with homeowners
- Must have own transportation to and from the job site
- Ability to pass a background check
Working Hours: This is a part-time position, with 6 hours per week on Mondays and Thursdays. However, the working hours can be adjusted to suit the candidate's existing responsibilities.
