Health Care Assistant


Salary:
£12 per hour (inclusive of a £1.10 non contractual market supplement)

Location: Baycroft Flitwick

Hours & Shift Pattern: 36 hours per week, Day & night staff required. 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am. 3x 12 hour shifts per week including alternate weekends.

We are now recruiting a dynamic Health Care Assistant to join our care team and support us in delivering nutritious food and market-leading care to our residents. Along with personal or professional experience of caring for others and have a genuine interest in care.

And in return, you will be responsible for:
  • Assisting our residents with their daily personal care needs whilst promoting their dignity and individuality.
  • Working as part of a strong, talented team.
  • Helping our residents with their hygiene, mobility and physical comfort.
  • Reporting to our dedicated nursing team regarding any illness, accident or event incurred by our residents, colleagues or visitors.
  • Undertaking observations of our residents and documenting this as necessary in their care plans.
  • Having a positive and friendly disposition.
  • Offering ongoing comfort to our residents who may be ill or requiring care at the end of their life, whilst making sure that their religious or cultural needs are fulfilled.
