Accounts Assistant
Office Based - Northampton
Salary £26,000 - £28,000 per annum, dependant on experience
9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

Gtechniq are manufacturers of advanced car, bike, marine and aviation care products. We are a small, fast-growing team based in Upper Heyford, Northamptonshire (off Junction 16 of the M1).
Due to our continued expansion, we now have an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. This is a full time, permanent position based at our office in Upper Heyford, Northamptonshire.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, duties will include:
Sales Ledger
- Generating sales invoices for all customer types
- Raising credit notes and processing refunds
- Credit control
- Amazon invoicing, returns and remittance matching
- Assisting customers in our onsite shop, taking payments and restocking products as necessary
Purchase Ledger
- Processing supplier invoices in a timely manner
- Maintaining the purchase ledger system
- Ensuring systems are regularly maintained and up to date
- Processing of expenses and credit card receipts
- Handling internal and external enquiries
- Working closely with the UK Buyer to identify any purchase order mismatches, ensuring they are promptly corrected
- Reconciling supplier statements
General
- Bank Reconciliations
- Providing cover for other Finance team members when necessary
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum of 2 years Accounts experience
- General office administration
- Confidence in answering the telephone and dealing with email enquiries
- Good knowledge of Xero and Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
- Proficient at using Microsoft Office
