Meraki Talents leading Financial Services client is hiring for an IT focused Business Analyst. This role would suit a BA with a proven track record in IT operations, projects, or related fields. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in this domain and be able to demonstrate their expertise.
Responsibilities of the Business Analyst (IT):
- Conduct meetings and gather requirements through effective elicitation and documentation techniques
- Identify and develop best practices in using IT applications and tools, as well as share knowledge and train others
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, evaluate the effectiveness of IT applications and tools, and make recommendations for improvement
- Provide support to project teams in meetings, scoping, analysis, and reporting
- Serve as a liaison between service delivery, technical, and business users to ensure effective application design and life-cycle activities
Background of the Business Analyst (IT):
- Expertise in designing, deploying, and improving systems for both technology and business applications across multiple disciplines
- Advanced technical skills and knowledge of IT systems and processes, such as MS365 Enterprise Suite, change management, trend analysis, process modeling tools, and reporting
- Ability to use various problem-solving techniques and report deficiencies effectively
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills to analyse business requirements, process mapping techniques, and effective elicitation and documentation
- Capability to leverage IT knowledge to evaluate systems, perform testing, and recommend enhancements to existing systems and processes
