Full training will be provided for the role and you will have the opportunity to make an integral contribution to the life cycle of bread production.
The successful candidate will be required to work a shift pattern involving working both days and nights, 12 hour shifts, including weekends. 06:00 - 18:00 & 18:00 - 06:00
Core responsibilities:
- Operating the plant and process in a safe and compliant manner.
- Being accountable for the production of high-quality products that are safe.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Completing documentation accurately and promptly.
- Supporting the delivery of the site’s KPI’s for Safety, Quality, Service and Cost.
- Proactively drive down waste by implementing our “see it, flag it, fix it" ethos.
- Complete robust daily plant start-up integrity checks.
- Effectively communicating and liaising with all other departments within the site to achieve operational excellence.
Ideal Experiences / Qualifications / Capabilities:
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Basic verbal & written communication skills
- Experience of a process environment
- Basic keyboard skills and IT aptitude to input and access data
Desirable:
- Experience of working in a Bakery
- Basic health & safety qualification
- Basic food hygiene qualification
