Fabritec engineering solutions is a young company based on the south coast just south of Chichester. Although predominately a fabrication business offering all forms of fabrication and welding, covering many areas of the industry from automotive to marine and aviation, the Fabritec team can offer a wealth of experience and knowledge on all aspects of engineering and manufacture.
We also offer a bespoke engineering and product design service, encompassing concept to product design and prototype to pre-production. Following on from this stage we can continue the process through to full production be it through project management or in house manufacture. This step-by-step approach has proven popular with not only our clients within the manufacturing industry but with the general public alike. It gives them the control over the timing and the financial aspects of taking their concepts and ideas to reality.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Welder to join our growing team.
- Experience in TIG/MIG welding in thin sheet metals, Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium is essential
- Experience within Fabrication
- Experience within Aviation, Military or Motorsport Industry would be preferable
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Confidence in the use of workshop machinery such as a guillotine, bending equipment, saws, lathe, mills and hand tools, training can be provided.
- Able to work unsupervised as well as part of a team
- Need to be physically fit to be able to carry out manual tasks
- Own transport is needed
- References and evidence of formal qualifications
We are looking for a candidate either able to work full time, or a Contractor.
The hours and salary can be discussed at interview.
A welding test will need to be carried out at the interview stage. So any PPE you have will need to be brought with you for the interview.
